Strengthening of quarantine for SARS-CoV-2 Variant

感染力が非常に強い新型コロナウイルスの変異株（以下、変異ウイルス）が、2020年12月以降、英国（イギリス）を中心に複数の国・地域から報告されています。

変異ウイルスの国内侵入を防ぐため、変異ウイルス発見国・地域からの来航者には、現地出発前に発行された検査証明書の提出を求めたり、一部の国・地域からの方に検疫所指定宿泊施設での待機を求めるなど、検疫体制を一段と強化しています。

強化内容は頻繁に更新されています。必ず厚生労働省のサイトで最新の情報をご確認ください。

変異ウイルス発見国・地域以外からの来航者への検疫は、以下のとおりです。

Variant of novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 Variant) which has stronger infectivity has been detected in several countries and areas including the United Kingdom since December, 2020.

In order to prevent entering the SARS-CoV-2 Variant into Japan, quarantine procedures have been strengthened such that those who come from variant-detected countries and areas to Japan should submit Certificate of Negative Test Result issued before departure, and those who come from certain countries and areas should undergo self-quarantine at designated quarantine accomodation.

Strengthend procedures have been changed frequently. Be sure to check up-to-date information at website of Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

中部国際空港における新型コロナウイルス感染症に対応した検疫体制は以下のとおりです。

中部国際空港における新型コロナ検疫体制

• 新型コロナウイルスの流行地域（入管法に基づく「入国拒否対象地域」）については下記を参照してください。

• 検査結果判明に要する時間は航空機の到着時間や到着客数等によって大きく左右されるため、事前に予測することができません。正確な時間はお答えしかねますのでご了承ください。
• 検査結果を待つ場所は空港ビル内です。当日中に空港島から出発できない場合は、ご自身で空港島内のホテルを手配していただく必要があります。
• 検査が｢陽性｣で入院または入所する場合、荷物は税関等の審査を受けた上で、入院先または入所先に持参します。
• 入院または入所が解除された後、日本国籍者は直接帰宅できますが、外国籍者はいったん中部国際空港へ戻り入国審査を受ける必要があります。

• Required hours for COVID-19 test depends so much on time of arrival and numbers of passengers that it is impossible to anticipate. Even if you inquire to our Quarantine Office, we cannot reply precise time for the end of quarantine procedures.
• The waiting place for COVID-19 test is inside the airport building. Those who cannot depart the airport island within the day of arrival should reserve a hotel inside the airport island by themselves.
• In case of isolation due to POSITIVE test result, baggage would be brought with the patient to the hospital/specific accommodation after inspections by Customs and other relevant authorities.
• After lifting of isolation, Japanese may go home directly but foreigners shall be back to Central Japan (Chubu) Int'l Airport and shall go through Immigration inspection.
